We’re delighted that you’ve chosen one of Aruba’s pristine beaches for your big day, and even more delighted that you’re concerned about keeping them that way. This little island has a very fragile ecology, and hosting over a million visitors per year can have a strain on the natural elements if we’re not mindful of that footprint.

If you’re the kind of couple who prefers long runs along the beach instead of long walks, and the thought of working out together leaves you as breathless as thoughts of the impending honeymoon, then this island has much to offer as the ideal wedding destination. And if many of your friends and family planning to attend are also like-minded about having a fun with fitness holiday here, there are plenty of options for all ages, too. Kristen has a special connection to the island as she used to live in Aruba when she was 11 and 12 years old. During the couple's trip to the One happy island back in 2015, they decided to spend the day together at Renaissance Island and both decided right then and there on their destination wedding venue.

As a fellow bride–to-be, I completely understand the overwhelming feeling that comes with planning the wedding. Luckily, my dream wedding will take place on the One Happy Island of Aruba, meaning that there will be a minimal chance of rain, virtually no chance of having the party tents blown away by a passing hurricane, and a constant supply of sunshine combined with a cooling breeze to keep everybody from getting too hot. Weather-wise, at least, I really don’t have to worry about a thing.

Whether choosing styles that are modern and trendy, or strictly traditional, a crucial element to any nuptials has always been the flowers, particularly the bridal bouquet. More casual beach weddings have encouraged couples to go bold in their color choices and combinations, and island florists have expressed they enjoy the challenge of creating something extraordinary and unique.
