Kristen has a special connection to the island as she used to live in Aruba when she was 11 and 12 years old. As a fellow bride–to-be, I completely understand the overwhelming feeling that comes with planning the wedding. Luckily, my dream wedding will take place on the One Happy Island of Aruba, meaning that there will be a minimal chance of rain, virtually no chance of having the party tents blown away by a passing hurricane, and a constant supply of sunshine combined with a cooling breeze to keep everybody from getting too hot. Trash it or treasure it? Post-wedding shoots are more popular than ever. For some, it’s a chance to wear that dress one more time before pressing and packing it away. For others, it’s an opportunity to capture the beauty of the bride (and sometimes groom) in a more relaxed, fun, and creative environment once the wedding is over.
“It was the best day of our lives,” shared bride Christine Castiello. The Long Island resident and her groom, Raymond Sanicola, knew they wanted to get married on a beautiful beach at sunset. Ultimately, they chose Aruba as the locale for their destination wedding, “because the beaches are absolutely beautiful, the food is always amazing, and the people are just lovely,” Christine explained.
