Beach Bars in Paradise
Are you in search of that quintessential beach bar experience in Aruba? If sipping a tropical libation or ice-cold local beer while chilling to some island tunes is on your wish-list for your destination wedding or honeymoon, rest assured—Aruba has quite a few to choose from around the island! These beach bars are also great spots for ceremonies, receptions, welcome dinners, and other wedding-related events.
Palm Beach
Moomba Beach Bar
Located adjacent to the Hadicurari Pier, CNN ranked this beach bar as one of the best in the world. Take refuge from the sun under the giant palm-leaf palapa or relax in the evening with your toes in the sand in the torch-lit lounge area on the beach. Several evenings feature live music from local bands and deejays.
Pelican Pier Bar
This lively beach bar is located on the water, across from the Holiday Inn. Tropical cocktails, daily happy hours, and live music keep the place buzzing, and afterwards, stroll to the end of the pier to the Pelican’s Nest Grill for fresh seafood.
Bugaloe
Hang out with local dive and watersports instructors, take a salsa lesson, sing a little karaoke, or simply enjoy the incredible sunset views from one of the island’s largest piers—Palm Pier, located adjacent to the Hilton. Eagle Beach
Beach Bar
Known simply as the “Beach Bar,” this spot opened in late 2018 on Eagle Beach, across from the Divi Village Golf & Beach Resort, and his quickly become a popular bar. With a beachy bohemian vibe, guests enjoy live music and idyllic sunsets here. The remains of an old pier nearby have become a favorite perch for pelicans and make for great photo ops!
Savaneta
Zeerovers
While this is not your typical beach bar, we added it to the list because it’s just so cool and locals love it! Originally (and still) a hangout for fishermen who dock their boats here and clean their catches of the day, it’s just as popular for the non-fishing crowd. Join the locals for a game of dominoes while you’re there!
Baby Beach
Rum Reef
In late 2018, a new bar opened at Baby Beach, on the southern end of the island. Rum Reef, formerly located on the ground level at JADS Dive Center, moved to a neighboring upstairs location, offering stunning elevated views of the Baby Beach area. Known for their made-from-scratch pina colada, you can take that and their other cocktails and beers out onto the terrace or sip it in the infinity pool, as patrons of Rum Reef can enjoy complimentary use of the terrace and pool. Rum Reef is adults-only.
